You and Jack managed to struggle with the CORE.

CORE

DESTROY THEM ALL!

And here you were, facing danger again.
You remembered the scene with MarineDevimon.

Do you think you can really stop me? I know by your skills that you are just a Newbie Tamer. Ha, prepare to die!

And now you saw the CORE, who was just about to finish with you, Jack, Dobermon and Jijimon. Kudamon was probably right. Kudamon shouldn't have sent you to Wind Village. A stronger Tamer would do it. Jason probably would. Does he face this kind of danger without any problem? Does he care about his life even once? Does he always put his life on the line? You didn't't know. You heart was beating stronger and stronger. Your breath was getting slower. The CORE was shining even more and was about to lead a finishing strike. You looked at Jack. Jack was really scared. He may be a guy full of guts, but he also fears real danger. You could also see Lynxmon who had lots of confidence with the attacks but now... Lynxmon is a scaredy cat. You saw your Digimon who feels the same. Was this really the end? What this the end of your dreams, your life? The end of your passions? Your feelings? The end of everything? Are you going to be saved again?

CORE

FINISHING STRIKE!

Babamon

NOT IN A THOUNSAND YEARS! EMPRESS HAZE!!

And there you go. You were saved, once more. You considered yourself lucky.
Babamon casted a spell.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! DON'T EVEN THINK YOU CAN STOP ME!

Kiwimon

Don't forget about us! KIWIMON UNIT, ATTACK!

You saw a huge amount of Kiwimon attacking the CORE.
And finally, you saw a real familiar face. Someone who started to be special to you...

BanchoLeomon

LION KING SLASH!!! And I'm not the only one! WILD ONES TEAM, ATTACK!

Marsmon

CORONA SANCTIONS! MUGEN HANDOU!

Marsmon performed an aerial combo attack with fire. Then, on the ground he accumulated fire in its hands and performed another combo and finishes it with a great pillar of fire.

Pandamon

PANDA PUMMEL!

Pandamon gathered a huge amount of energy and attacks with a great big blow.
The CORE seemed to be weakening.

CORE

ERROR, ERROR! ACTIVATE AUTO DESTRUCTION IN 3...

Babamon

NO!

BanchoLeomon

WE WON'T MAKE IT!

CORE

Marsmon

KIWIMON, BEHIND ME!

CORE

Jijimon

I SHALL PROTECT THIS LAND WITH MY OWN BARE HANDS! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Jijimon casted a strange attack against the CORE. Jijimon couldn't stop screaming. The scream was so huge.

Babamon

DON'T DO IT WITHOUT ME DARLING! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Babamon helped Jijimon and they were both screaming in pain.
The CORE wasn't talking anymore. It was desactivating little by little.

Babamon

RUN! RUN WHILE YOU CAN! IF WE STOP THIS, IT WILL EXPLODE! GO!

Pandamon

YOU HEARD BABAMON, GO!

Jack

LET'S GO, LET'S GO!

Everybody started to run away fast.
But you stood there looking at them...
Suddenly!

BanchoLeomon

DON'T BE A IDIOT, GET OUT!

BanchoLeomon grabs you and runs.
Outside the semi-sphere...

BanchoLeomon

Marsmon, you're in charge of taking them to a safe place! I'll go back there!

BanchoLeomon went back immediatly to the Core Zone.

Marsmon

But... You heard the Master, let's go!

And so, you all started to run away again.
At the middle of the way, you heard an explosion.

Kiwimon

Oh no! The elders!

You went back to Wind Village.
Everybody was worried. At the Village you could see lots of Digimon and Tamers from D-City, helping the victims of the swarm. You were still really scared.

DemiDevimon

And it seems that our little hero didn't managed to make it!

Dracmon

Don't forget our duty, guys!

Keramon

*grins*

You were about to chase them, when...

Knightmon

WAIT! Don't move... We still need to check your wounds.

And so you failed. Why were the Small Devils here? They knew something about the CORE, for sure.
Suddenly, there was a commotion. BanchoLeomon and Jijimon were back.

BanchoLeomon

Jijimon

...

Dobermon

Where... Where is Babamon?

BanchoLeomon

...

Jijimon

Babamon is... is... GONE!

Everybody was shocked. Jijimon started to cry hard.

Jijimon

Babamon... I was casting a forbidden spell that we both knew. It was supposed... To be me... But Babamon also casted it, but it was stronger than mine, so Babamon was the spell's sacrifice.

BanchoLeomon

Babamon was degenerated completely into DATA. Gone...

Everybody at the village was quiet. Lots of people and Digimon started to cry.

Dobermon

No... NO, IT CAN'T BE!

Dorumon

WHY?! WHY?! WHY BABAMON?!

Jijimon

I... I FAILED TO PROTECT HER! I SHOULD HAVE GONE INSTEAD OF BABAMON!

BanchoLeomon

STOP IT!

BanchoLeomon grabbed Jijimon but started to cry too...
The village was sad... And later, you went back to D-City with Jack.

Kudamon

I am... Indeed shocked... I am sorry...

Jack

For?... *weak voice* There is no need to apologise. These things happen...

Kudamon

But why?!

You never saw Kudamon with such emotion...

Kudamon

WHY DID I SENT YOU?! WHY?! I should have sent others there. I had to send BanchoLeomon's special team because Babamon called us urgently. Babamon said to have felt the danger you were going trough. Babamon... Everyone respected her! It was a Digimon that everybody loved! I... I am sorry once again... You are just fresh Tamer and you already faced too much danger. I... I feel responsible for this! *cries*
